November shapes up to be an excellent month to catch up with the latest developments in the social gaming industry ― with not one but two major industry conferences taking place in London.
First, there’s the 2nd annual Social Gambling Conference (6th-7th November – Dexter House, London), which we’ve already talked about. Then there’s the 4th annual Social Gambling & Gaming Summit (21st November – etc Venues, London), which is a full day event focused “on the intersection of casino-style social games, mobile gaming, virtual goods, and the bridge between mainstream social gambling and gaming“.
Both events bring together social gaming experts and innovators, gambling and casino representatives, and major industry players from both sides of the pond (including AbZorba).
If you’re based in England (or can persuade your boss to fund your trip to London) either conference offers invaluable insights into the present and the future of social gaming, as well as a great opportunity to mingle with industry insiders and possible partners and investors.
Our CEO, Andrew Hughes, will be quite busy, discussing “The successful monetization of casino style games” at the Social Gambling Conference and participating in two panels at the Social Gambling & Gaming Summit, one exploring the role of regulation in our industry, and another examining the available monetization strategies for social gaming and the impact of real money gaming.
See you in November!
